How much difficult/easy i found the activities.

 Hi, today i going to tallk about how much difficult i think are the activities from "exam of english".

I think the activities here are so completed, and enterteining because the text and the liseting are not boring compare with other that for me is to lazy to doing because the topic is not dinamic. 

But this practice is an a good form to learn, it has an activities that are easy and other difficult. For me the most difficult are the activities of listening, the people speak very fast and is complicated, i´m going to have to practice jaja. And the most easy activity for me is about reading, the texts are simple.

Someone interesting that i follow in social media

 Hi today I going to talk about someone interesting that I follow in social media.

Today I going to talk about one YouTube channel called Alfrely, they are a couple from Mexico, and upload videos about the industry of the animation, i really like learn about how one animation movie or serie finished arived in the tvs, the process that they pass for aprove one proyect, i think is interesting..

I think I follow them since 2019 maybe, or 2020, I don’t know very well. I discovered them when i search one of my favorite series on youtube and they did a video about this serie, the first years, how the serie is popular, the problems that have, the quality of the animation and the story etc. 

Something I enjoy doing outdoor

 Hi, today i going to talk about something i enojoy doing outdoor. 

Something I really like to do outside but haven't done in years is camping. I used to camp with my scout group since I was 8 years old but during the pandemic everything ended, my friends did not return to scout so I decided to leave this group.

We used to go camping 4 times a year, once a season, we went to many places like rancagua, pirque, villa alemana, etc.  In summer we used to camp for 2 week, in autumn for 3 days, in winter for 1 week and in spring for 3 or 5 days

i think i really like this activity because is some different that i do in santiago every day, wake up in the morning with the sound of the birds, in a carp, and then breakfast in the nature, be relax, no have signal in the phone, for me is an amazing feel

the last time that i did this activity was in 2019, when with my gruop of scout we went to Chimbarongo, it was a funny camp, we climbed the hill, we played different sports, every day was different.

chilean landmark that i like

 Hi, today i going to talk about a chilean landmark that i like.

This place is the humboldt penguin national reserve, i visit this place when i was 10-11 years old i think in 2015 maybe. 

This national reserve its located in Coquimbo, about 6 hours by bus from Santiago and then you take a boat from Punta de Choros to Damas island, where you can also see sea lions. 

I visited this place with my mom, my grandfather, my 2 aunts and my 3 cousins. This was a familiar trip through the Coquimbo region. 

In this place i could see how the name indicates som Humboldt penguins, fish and sea lions. I dont like travel by boat because i get dizzy but i really like this trip it was very funny i always have a good time with my family. I dont know how much time we spent touring the island because it was 8 years ago but i remember that the entire visit lasted aroud 1 hour. 

I liked see animals in their animals without interfere a lot and feel the sea wind in my face. 

In general i really like this holidays in Coquimbo, its 1 of my favorite, so for this reason for me is a special place because the total of the parts that conformed this holidays they made it one of the best. 

One fact, i arrived to this place in school van because my aunt is driver at the school i went to. 

Place in Chile that i would like to visit again

 Hi, today i going to talk about a place in Chile that i would like to visit again 

I visited Rapa Nui in 2012, when i have 8 years old, this place is an island east of mainland Chile, to get here it is almost a 5 hours flight by plane.

I arrived here because it was a work travel from my mom, so i went with my mom and her work colleages. My mom wanted me to go because that would be my first time in a travel by plane. 

I stay here for 8-9 days maybe, one day my mom worked and the next day we traveling to diferents parts of the island, and the next day work and this was the routine of this week. 

In this place i visited volcanos, beaches, and the most amazing thing to me was the moais, i really like saw one on live. 

I think this was an amazing experience because the climate, the fauna and flora and the culture is very different than mainlad Chile, is so beautiful and unique. 

One day when i was putting sunscreen i decided putting sunscreen to my doll to, so i putting in her face and the drawing of her face was erased, it was so sad, i trying to fix it but it was late, my doll never had face again jaja.  

Person of my family

 Hi, today i going to talk about my mom.

Her name is Paola, and i think she is the most important person in my life, she helped me when my father abandoned us when i was 2 years old (yes, i havent seen him since i was 2 years old, he is nothing to me now), but i never need nothing of him because my mom made sure we never lacked anything and i always be gratefull with she for this. My mom was always my ispiration for how i want to be and the person i want to become. 

She work like public administrator in the airport since she was 19 years old (at my age she was start to work), and in the nights she take cares of my grandparents, so i live in the same house but i see her for the dinner, because she arrives tired and i do homework to the university. 

My mom is cute, happy, she have so much patience, generous, fun, etc. 

When i was 4-13 years old i really selfish with she, because when she arrives with a boyfriend i dont like it beacuse i was afraid that i would get attached to him and that he would do to me the same thing that my father did to me, but when i grow up i understand if my mom is happy im happy, and dont worry about what could happen.

job that i would like to do.

Hi, today i going to talk about a job that i would like to do.

I like so much the fashion industry, because i think how to wear clothes is a form of art, the combined of colors, accesories and styles, for me is very interesting. 

So i would like to work such as fashion designer in fashion weeks or in a advertsing agency, but like a hobby. Is very woow (i dont know how to explain it) see how any popular person wear one outfit of a designer and this become viral, the power of social media is incredible. 

I think to do this job the persons can be creatives and risky because for me, the fashion can be differnt that yo ever seen before. 

I like dress diferrent every day, when i was in the school my friends laughed that i always wore the same sweatshirt and always dressed in blue, so in pandemic i decided to change my style, and i ended up liking it. So i think i understand a little bit about this. 

Mi inspiration is Vivianne westwood i liked his risky style and the colors, the punk style, etc. 

I think i could learn more seeing the work of other designer, watch videos to how make my own clothes and search the posibility to do sustentable fashion.

5 activities i did during the last week

 Hi, today i going to talk about 5 activities i did during the last week 

1. Watching series 

The last week i started a 2 k-drama calls "See you in my 19th life" and  "Love Alarm" i think the second is the most beautyful serie i have ever seen. The first one i watch in 3-4 days, and the second in 1 week. I watched these series alone in my house, time to my self jaja, and now im obsessed with the songs of the series.

2. HandCraft 

In the week of vacations i did flower with "limpiapipas" (i dont know how it called in english). I saw this craft on Pinterest and i think it was very pretty, so i go out to buy the limpiapipas.  I did flowers to my bf (I dont know how long it takes me to made them, i think 1 or 2 nights) and now im doing to my mom (i have less time now, so i have delayed making them). I really liked making this craft because i like to give handmade things to the people i love. 

3.  Go out with friends

The last friday i went out with my 2 friend Constanza and Paloma, we went to a "party" in Parque Almagro, there were a lot of people especially university students. I laugh a lot with my friend, we sat on the grass all afternoon talking about the life and listening the music. 

4. Barbecue 

The last sunday i have a barbecue with all of my family in the house of my grandparents. It started at 12 pm to 12 am, it was very funny, we dance "cuecas", "caporal" and "el costillar" i laughed so much with these. More in the afternoon we play a board game called "Catan" with my cousins, but i lost, saaaad jaja. 

5.  Work for the university 

The last week i did 2 models to the universty. One of these was in group so i had to come to university the last thursday and we stay here since 1 pm to 7 pm, this are not vacations :(. And for other course a i did a model of the house of my grandparents wich i have to present today in class. 

Cultural Radar

 Hi, today im going to talk about an article of "On my Radar" by The Guardian, and my own cultural radar. 

Im going to talk about the article of Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy in Harry Potter movies). In this article Tom Felton Talk about:

1. Theatre, the musical "Dear Evan Hansen", a musical that tell about teen suicide. 

2. Album, specifically George Harrison: All Things Must Pass. In this Felton tell us that he is a fan of the Beatles.

3. Book, Captain Sir Richard Francis Burton: A Biography by Edward Rice. This is the book that he are readind at this moment (jan 15 2022)

4. Film, "Vivo", he is a fan of Lin-Manuel Miranda, and he like very much this film

5.Place, Westminster Abbey. he is a fan of the history, and he read a poem of Christmas carol service.

6. Sports, specifically Formula One. He like this for the emotion that he feels watching the car race.

For me the most interesting topic was the film because, i like the animation movies, the way they created a world and give life to a characters, i dont watch this film but i want to see it. 

My Cultural Radar

1. Series of animation, The Amazing World of gumball. 

This is my favorite serie, i like the simpleness of the characters, but the form that he mocks the everyday things of life in an ironic way, in adittion to dealing with topics such as depression, copy right, etc. Gumball is my animal spirit. 

2. Book,"War cross". This book tell us the story of a girl in a futuristic world where the tecnology domitated the world, she must enter in a videogame to save the world for the control of they emotions, like robots). This is my favorite book, and the autor´s coming to Chile in Octuber. 

3. Song. "The greates show man". Is the principal song of the movie with the same name. It talk about nothing is impossible in this life, we can do anithing. 

4. Fashion. I like the idea that the style and the clothes is a form of art, and you dont have to buy a new clothes to have a style, it is created with the form of the hair, the accesorys and the actitud. i dont know how to explain this:(. 

5. Place, the beach of El tabo. i think this is my place of peace, no much persons going to this place, have a vibes of calm, the only thing you hear are the waves of the sea. 

 

6. Food, Sushi, I really like sushi, but only vegetarians or with chicken, is a food that makes me want to eat all time, is a one of the wonders of the world. 

Concert i went to

 Hi, today im going to talk about a concert that i went 

For this dates but in the last year the Tour of Big time Rush called "Forever Tour" it was announced, i remember was in a class of physics when i saw the post on instagram and i couldn´t concetrate again. I wrote to my friend Constanza (who is fan too), and in this moment  we decided that we would go yes or yes. 

This year in February i went to saw the concert of Big Time Rush with my friend, it was amazing, im very fan of this band since i was 8 years old (im 19 years old), and saw them was a dream. We were very near the stage, so the sound and the view was incredible. The band play several songs, new and old, because they had separeted and hadn´t released music for almost 10 years, and hear the songs that i listened when i was a child its so crazy. 

This day in general was very innusual, because this week i was in the beach with my firiends (including Constanza) and this day specifically we were going back to Santiago. We took a bus at 11 am and we arrived at 1 pm,when i arrived my house like 2 pm i ate, order and clean, and i went to the concert. Its strange think about 6 hours later i was in the beach and next i was in a concert, its crazy.  

Interesting trip

Hi, today im going to talk about an interesting trip that i have.

It was when i stay in 10th grade, for the school trip we went to Camboriu, Brasil. It was an amazing, funny and interesting trip, i went with my school friends that i known them since i was 6 years. We took a plane at 3 am roughly and we landed at 8 am (time to Brasil).

In this trip we walk so much, we went to the beach, we´re going on a boat, we dance everyday and we ate different food. One day we went to a cable railway (like cerro san cristobal), and the view of Brasil from the top of the hill was amazing, we saw so much trees and the beach in the distance. And later, we occupy a canopy to go down the hill, at first i was a little scared , because it was a high drop, but when i saw the view and i felt the wind on my face, it felt incredible, this is the top moments of my life. 

We spent here one week, but i felt it short, i would have liked to have been more. This trip was in december 2019, and 3 moths later the covid arrived in the world. 

new semester

 Hi, my name is Catalina i´m student of Architecture since 2022. 

I was born in Santiago, and i live here all of my life, specifically in Conchali. I studied in the same school in Santiago Centro for 14 years, in this place i met my best friends, we talk every day.

My family it´s conformed for my mom, my grandmother, my grandfather, my 3 aunts, my 2 uncles, my 8 cousins and her childrens. Is a big family, we meet every birthdays or other celebrations, like new year, christmas, september 18, etc. And we go to vacations together every year. 

My hobbies are to sew, watch series and dance (sometimes). I want to end the year the best form possible, because this year it has been one of the best, im so happy for this.

Experience writing this blogs

 Hi, for the last post in this semester, i will talk about the experience writing this blogs 

My favorite post was "my group of friends" or "family meal" because i like talk about persons that i love, one group is my family and the other the family that i choose (yes, very corny), and i enjoyed writing about the experience with them.

My least favorite post was "favorite social media", because i dont know so much about the app and i had to investigate on internet, i dont enjoyed writing this :((  also i like many others app and i never stopped to think which was my favorite. 

I enjoyed read Joselyn's blog, because she is my friend and i like know the experience, tastes and opinions about my friends, even more if we writing about the sames topics in our blogs. 

With this blogs i think that my english is better than Catalina of march of this year, i dont study english since 2019 (in the pandemic i have english in the school but online and is difficult learn in this situacion), i have been able to remember words and grammar, and i think i can improvise writing in english (with a little help in some words)

I like write in the blogs because it help me to trying to think in english and how write what i want to say, i dont know in my opinion is funny jajaja. But i dont like when i dont know what to say (in spanish or english) on my own blog or in the blogs from the class. 

In my opinion write in one language that is not yor own language helps a lot to learn, even if it's not 100% right because is part of the process.

Program that I watched as a child

 Hello, today i will talk about a programe that i watched when i was a child 

My favorite program was a TV show called “Lazy town”, it’s about a girl who moved to a town called lazy town with her uncle. She animated her friends to go out for they houses because they are always playing video games, her uncle (who is the mayor) ask for help to Sportacus, who is a “superhero”  that urges children to eat fruits and vegetables, but this work is difficult because the villain try to keep the town in calm and lazy with his evil plans . 

This program have 4 seasons, and it was on the air for 10 years, since 2004 until 2014 (the first episode was launched the year that I was born). 

I watched enjoy this program because I like the songs, and it was a plot that indirectly urgen the children to do sports and eat healthy, it’s was a very good idea. 

I saw this program in the mornings when I was 5-6 before go to school, drinking milk in my bed trying to wake up jajaja

 Hi today i will talk about the BBC Learning website 

In the section of courses i do medium courses>General english 1>session 2. I think this explain very well the diference of present simple, present continuos and present perfect

In the section of grammar i do medium grammar>Medium grammar with 6 Minute Grammar>Present tenses. I think this explain very well the diference of present simple, present continuos and present perfect and how to use them in a real conversation 

In the section of pronunciation i do medium pronunciation>Tim's pronunciation workshop>Tim's Pronunciation Workshop: Summary (episode 75). In my opinion study pronunciation from a video is not for me, i dont understand if the class is not face to face. 

In the section of vocabulary i do medium voabulary>Learn English through the drama>Father and son episode 1. i think the drama was very interesting (like a movies) is a good form to learn new words in english.

In the section of news i do  news review > Fast food: Bad for the brain?. And the news was interesting but very short, and the activity had 3 exercise about 3 words that repeat all the time in the video. 

In the section of more i do Test your level>session 1. is a very good tool to know how much yo learned in the past sections 

My group of best friends

 Helllo today i will talk about my bestfriends 

I don´t have one specific best friend, i have my group of friends who they are my best friends, i know most of them since kindergarden (yes, when i was 4-5 years) because they are my school friends, others arrived in the school like 5th grade maybe, but in 2018 we all started dating together, when the teacher choose random positions where each person in my grade (1°C) sits all of the year, in this positions i stay with my now bestfriends and we started to know each other, yes it was the destiny. They called: Coni, Jechu, 2 Tomás, Víctor, Paloma, Javi, Fer, Joaquín, Fran and Amaro. 

All of we like playing cards, do sports (in the school friends we played voleyball), we listen the same music, dance etc. We like play videogames together, go to the cinema to see the new movies, go to vacactions together, go to a parties or stay in home only talking and laughing, i can do everything with they. 

I saw them like 2 weeks ago in Victor's birthday, i haven´t seen them since February, when we went to a vacations in the beach for one week. I really miss them and its weird go from seeing them every day in class to seeing them once every 2-3 months.

Family meal

 Hi, today i will talk about the most memorable family meal that i remember 

I think it was when i was in my summer vacations 2020 in Disney, Florida, i was with my mom, my aunt and my 5 cousins (Diego, Mattia, Simone, Javiera and Gabriela). 

I remember that we were coming back to the house we rentend later for the one tiring day, we walk all day, nobody want cook the dinner  and we decide order food from McDonalds, everybody order hamburger and icecream for the dessert. I order from my phone and with my cousin Javiera and Mattia we were waiting the food outside the house. When we returned at the house the rest of my family was sleeping, but not everybody in their beds, someone fell asleep in any side, on the table or on the sofa, it was very funny. My cousins and i we had to wake them up to eat, and everybody eat with one eye open and the other close and very slow, we were too tired. It was a very weird and funny family meal.

As an extra fact, when i was waiting the food outside the house, we saw a raccon climb a palm tree, and we get scared because we had never seen this animal in our lifes, less loose on the streets. 

Country i would like visit

Hi, today i will talk about what country i would like to visit.

I would like visit the islands of Hawaii, it is in USA, because i like the relaxing vibes are in this place, and i think their culture, gastronomy, and their typical dances are spectacular, i would like learn about this. Also i like the landscape that the island is made up of, their volcanoes, flowers, nature, beach, etc. 

I wanna visit this place with all members of my family like my mom and her boyfriend, my cousins with her children, my uncles, aunts and my grandparents, the vacations with they are very funny and memorable, because in total we are like 20 persons and the laughs are never fails.

I like stay in this place like 3 weeks, i think is enough time to visit all of the island and their attractions and have relaxing days in the beach with nothing to do, only stay under the sun and swim in the warm ocean. 

Among the attraction that i would like to visit are: tour to Maui and Oahu, visit the volcanoes, swim with turtles, etc.   

I have already gone to USA to the Disney parks in Orlando, that was incredible, but i don´t saw never of the american landscapes, and i would like see more about this country. 

My last weekend

 My weekend 

Hello, today i´ll talk about what im did last weekend. 

On Saturday i went out with my mom to walk for the center of Santiago, touring diferents strets like "Paseo Ahumada", "Paseo Estado" and "Alameda", it was very interesting because my mom told me what she did in the same strets but years ago, when i wasn´t born yet, and she have my same age (19). We went out home like 11 am and like 2 pm we went to "Lastarria" to touring and have lunch, my mom ate lasagna of eggplant and i ate pizza with hearts of palm and asparagus. Then we took the subway to went to my grandparents house, because my aunt cook "sopaipillas" and they invited us to eat all together. I was outside my house all day, like 11 am to 9 pm, but i enojoy the time that i pass with my family, im happy when we get together like family. My family is very close, 1 or 2 days per month i have lunch with my mom, my grandparents, my uncles, my cousins and they children, is funny because most of my cousins have my same age and is like we was friends and not cousins, i´m very happy of the family i´m in. 

 Hello, today in my blog im talk about my favorite social media, this is Pinterest-

Pinterest is a social media where you can view and post photos about anything you can believe and search, for example: outfits, hobbies, recipes, exercise rutine, places, etc. And you can keep this photos in your gallery or in the app. 

I use this app to view how to make clothes, and how to combine clothes to become cool outfits (yes, i like fashion), usually i see photos for celebritys and famous persons with outfits that they have similar style like i want to have to recreat this with my own clothes ( i want to be aesthetic ja ja ja, is a prank but i like to dress well). Also i use this app to view life styles of other people and motivate me to follow they examples, but is very hard ja ja ja the laziness won me. :(

I like this app because is very exact when searching for what you want to search, for example if i search "outfits with a red jacket" in the app, the results is only photos for people using red jacket. 

I use this app every night, to choose  the outfit for the next day, is part of the routine ja ja ja.
